Join us for the 11th Annual Catholics at the Capitol on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Lincoln! This is your chance to live out your faith in action, learning how to advocate effectively for policies that protect life, uphold family values, and promote justice for the common good.

This year’s theme, "Courage of the Saints," reminds us that we stand on the shoulders of countless faithful who boldly defended truth in the public square. Their strength inspires us to engage in advocacy with both conviction and charity.

What to Expect:
8:00 - 8:20 AM: Check-in, Networking, Coffee & Donuts
8:30 - 8:50 AM: Welcoming, Opening Prayer, and Opening Panel (Archbishop Lucas & Bishop Conley)
8:50 - 9:30 AM: Pro-Life Panel (featuring Senators & NCC Staff)
9:40 - 10:20 AM: School Choice Panel (featuring Senators & NCC Staff)
10:20 - 10:45 AM: Break
10:45 - 11:45 AM: Panel on "Stand with Her" & Social Media Protections (featuring Governor Pillen, Senators, & NCC Staff)
11:45 - 12:45 PM: Lunch, Legislative Bills "Round Robin" on Immigration, Food Assistance, Domestic Violence Victim Supports (featuring Senators), Prep for Capitol Visit
1:00 - 1:30 PM: Senator Meetings
1:30 - 2:00 PM: Watch Legislative Debate
2:00 - 2:45 PM: Closing Mass & Closing Remarks

Tickets are $15 and include breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.

Attire: Wear RED to show Catholic unity! Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes and warm layers for the short walk from St. Mary’s to the Capitol.

Parking: Nearby parking garages include Cornhusker Square Garage (1220 L St.) and Carriage Park Garage (1128 L St.), with rates of $1.25 per hour.

We work to promote the dignity of every human person, from conception to natural death, without compromising the truths of our faith. Let the example of the saints embolden us to step forward in courage, charity, and unwavering conviction.
