The Archdiocese of Omaha is comprised of 23 counties and more than 240,000 Catholics throughout northeast Nebraska. The Archdiocese originally started as a diocese in 1859. The Archdiocese has had ten Bishops to date, and is currently led by Archbishop George J. Lucas.

The Diocese originally started in 1887. The Diocese has had nine Bishops to date, and is currently led by Bishop James D. Conley.

The Diocese originally started in 1912 as the Diocese of Kearney. The Diocese has had eight Bishops to date, and is currently led by Bishop Joseph G. Hanefeldt.
