Catholics at the Capitol
Help us shape culture and law on this day of advocacy for life, faith, and the common good. Join us for the 12th Annual Catholics at the Capitol on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Lincoln. This is your chance to bear the light of Christ in the public square with like-minded believers, learning how to advocate effectively for policies that protect life, uphold family values, and promote policies for the good of all people.
With neighbors from your district, Archbishop McGovern (Archdiocese of Omaha) and Bishop Hanefeldt (Diocese of Grand Island), State Senators, statewide elected officials, and the NCC staff you'll learn about the pressing issues before the legislature. You'll be equipped with the knowledge and tools to enact change on these issues, on March 4th and beyond.

As Catholics, we are called to engage in politics as faithful citizens. We work to promote the dignity of every human person, from conception to natural death, without compromising the truths of our faith. During this event, we may engage with officials and stakeholders who don't share these same convictions as we work to bring about the good of all people. Let the example of the Saints embolden us to step forward in courage, charity, and unwavering conviction.
Seats are limited. Register by Friday, February 27.
