Bishops' Pro-Life Banquet
Join us on November 22nd for an inspiring evening to strengthen our resolve, sharpen our minds, and renew our dedication to the cause of Life. Together, we’ll step away from the world’s noise, listen for the voice of the Lord, and like St. Joan of Arc, boldly declare: "I Fear Nothing."
In today’s cultural and political landscape, where we've been tirelessly advocating for the dignity of all human life—especially mothers and preborn children—it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. That's why this year, we draw inspiration from St. Joan of Arc, whose courage in the face of fear guides our mission. Her words, “I fear nothing, for God is with me,” will serve as a rallying cry as we face new challenges and work to cultivate a culture of life.
This year's banquet holds even greater significance as it will be the first major pro-life gathering following the vote on Nebraska’s abortion-related ballot initiatives in November. We’re thrilled to announce our keynote speaker, national pro-life leader and former Nebraska Catholic Conference Executive Director, Greg Schleppenbach!
Greg, who led our pro-life efforts for 25 years and played an instrumental role in shaping the pro-life movement in Nebraska, now serves as the Executive Director of The Culture Project. Regardless of the election outcome, Greg’s return to Nebraska is sure to inspire and equip us for the road ahead.
The Pro-Life Banquet is an annual celebration of our collective mission—a night of learning, stewardship, and fellowship for over 500 pro-life Nebraskans. The evening includes a cocktail hour at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner, an awards ceremony, and Greg Schleppenbach’s powerful keynote address.
