Join us at the 10th Annual Catholics at the Capitol: 10 Years & Infinite Impact.

With a decade of Catholic advocacy under our belts, we want to celebrate the invaluable change we've made and look forward to all the change to come. Help us build the kingdom of love, justice, and peace at the 10th Annual Catholics at the Capitol. On March 6th from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, you'll get an inside look at our state's government, hearing from Governor Jim Pillen, and a host of State Senators on our legislative priorities. Most importantly, you'll learn how to help pass laws protecting life, faith, family, and more. Finally, we’ll equip you with the tools to confidently advocate for your issues year-round.

Admission tickets are $15 each, with breakfast, lunch, and refreshments included. Don't forget about the chance to meet with your State Senator, and watch live legislative debate in the balconies of the legislative chamber! Click the "Register now" button above to register by Wednesday, February 28th.

Attire: Catholics at the Capitol Attendees should wear RED to show their spirit! Please wear comfortable shoes for walking, and bring any cold-weather gear to keep you warm on the short walk from St. Mary's Church to the Capitol.

Parking: There are several parking garages near St. Mary's Church, including Cornhusker Square Garage (1220 L St.) and Carriage Park Garage (1128 L St.). Garage parking fees are $1.25 per hour. There is street parking by St. Mary's and around the Capitol.

The State Senators you will hear from may agree or disagree with our positions on major issues the NCC works on. As Catholics, we find a path to work with everybody along the political spectrum on various issues ranging from womb to tomb. We ally with those who share our core convictions. We also find ways to build common ground with those with whom we may not share the same core convictions, and we do so without ever compromising our adherence and witness to the great truths handed down to us. Doing so allows us to carry forward those great tenets of our faith: truth and charity.

Don't hesitate to get in touch with us with any questions. Call us at 402.477.7517 or email Paige Brown at pbrown@necatholic.org.
